Bombay Cafe is located at 3060 N Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311 and probably my favorite local Indian curry restaurants. Having grown up in Durban, South Africa with a large Indian population, Indian cuisine was a staple diet of mine where our local dish was called a “bunny chow” – which is a hollowed out loaf of bread filled with curry.
The lunch buffet at Bombay Cafe at $10.95 can’t be beat, but I normally like to get take out, my favorite dish is Chicken Tikka – Succulent cubes of boneless chicken marinated in yogurt and spices roasted in clay oven with a side of Kashmiri Naan bread made from fine flour stuffed with pineapples, cherries and walnuts.
